ABOUT LEVI
Levi Tillemann is a globally recognized expert on clean energy, and is the author of the seminal book on electric vehicles, The Great Race: The Global Quest For The Car Of The Future (Simon and Schuster, 2015).
Levi is fluent in automotive and mobility technology, innovation and international policy. He is currently the Vice President for Policy and International Outreach at Ample, Inc., a Silicon Valley-based company pioneering modular battery swapping in electric vehicles. Previously, he served as an advisor at the U.S. Dept of Energy under President Obama and led the World Economic Forum’s Circular Cars Initiative. A Yalie, Levi has a doctorate from Johns Hopkins School of Advanced International Studies and speaks Chinese, Japanese, Spanish, and Portuguese.
